APRIL 2023

Our cover for April 2023 is an artwork by Lalhruaitluangi (Hruaii), an artist from Lunglei, Mizoram.

The artist was inspired by 1 Corinthians 13:12 – ‘For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.’

‘We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!’

OCTOBER 2023

Our gorgeous cover art for this edition is by Hriati Ralte from Lunglei.

The artwork is inspired by a quote from the Norwegian Master Expressionist Edvard Munch “From my rotting body, flowers shall grow and I am in them, and that is eternity.”

JANUARY 2024

Our stunning Cover Art for January 2024 is a photograph clicked by our dear friend Rosie Tlau.

The photo was clicked in early December, 2023 during an evening stroll at Kawlri Tlang near Serchhip town in Mizoram. The photo is completely unstaged, and it is just a happy, whimsical coincidence that the umbrella perfectly matches her outfit! And we love the idea of that – two girls go for an evening walk on the outskirts of town, they wander into someone’s farm when it starts to drizzle, and then this magical photo happens.
